We are two. married, associates, exceedingly passionate about what we do. My fiancé, Patrice Sirard, was born in the Upper Laurentiens,
here in Ferme-Neuve, whereas I, Chantal Levesque, am originally from Montreal.
Along with being proprietors of the house,
we have other careers as well, for the last 22 years, I have been a hair styliste, with my own air salon, named " Coiffure Elegance
Elle & Lui", now located on the first floor of our hotel, La Chaumiere du Passant. I also have earned a technical degree in financial
administration.
I have an artistic and innovative personality, and I adore the challenges that new projects present. However,
above all, what makes me happiest is the social context of a small hotel, bordered by awe-inspiring natural surroundings, and the
pleasure of meeting people from all corners of the world.
Patrice also wears many hats. With a degree in industrial relations,
he is exceptionally passionate about First Aid. Furthermore, it is in this field of health related work that he has chosen his vocation,
first and foremost as a paramedic, as well as an instructor in first aid for Saint-John Ambulance, an instructor for the Quebec Heart
and Stroke Fondation and an instructor with the Quebec Workmen's Compensation Board.
We created this small touristic house due
to our mutual desire to be of service to our fellowman. Meeting people from different regions convinces us that it is indeed a small
world and our similarities are greater than our differences. We are eternally grateful for your presence. It is a learning experience
which enriches both Patrice and myself.
As responsible administrators, catering to your needs, we commit to offering you frendly
courteous and professional service. When we created La Chaumiere du Passant, our first intention wat to offer our guests the comfort
of a grand hotel at prices suitable for fixed budgets.
We are extremely pleased and proud to introduce you to our beautiful inn,
which I might add does not serve breakfast, but which is a lovely 4-star touristic house, whith all the comfort of a grand 5-star
